The Church reopens on Sunday 23rd February with a 10am Benefice Communion Service to which all are invited, we then have an Evensong Service at 5pm

St John’s 2020 services — when and where

St John’s church building was closed for all of 2019 to undergo major refurbishment. Reopening date is February 23 in 2020. Meanwhile St John’s people, including choir, meet at the two other churches in the benefice. Changes to St John’s traditional location and time are underlined.

3rd Sunday (February 16)

8am Holy Communion (BCP, Book of Common Prayer 1662) at St Ben’s

note time change:

11am Holy Communion (St John’s and St Ben’s together) at St Ben’s, followed by lunch in church as a thank-you from St John’s to St Ben’s people for their hospitality over the past 14 months

Sunday February 23 — St John’s reopens

[No 8am Holy Communion service today, so that all can be together for the reopening celebration at 10am]
